Rain strafes Albuquerque leaving pools of water in depressions in the courtyard. Joking while dressing, danzantes change into ornate, sparkling dance regalia as they banter in two languages. El grupo moves out of the dressing room, across the plaza, to the entrance, where they greet busloads of conference goers with stylistic versions of traditional dances--a time honored tradition in Albuquerque and something that Burqueans have come to expect.

Kalpulli Ehekatl or Calpulli Ehecatl has been entertaining folks in this area for well over twenty-five years.
